Through Fontur, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism launched a call for young people between 18 and 28 years old to travel across Colombia.
This is the ColombiAR campaign, the first tourism “documentary” in which seven young Colombians will participate to show the beauty of the country.
Those who are selected will be able to live the most representative experiences of tourism in Colombia. The show is broadcast on Channel 13.

ColombiAR is an initiative that seeks to combine various audiovisual formats on both digital and television platforms through podcasts, videos and photo recordings.

“With this strategy we want to make Colombia visible through its tourist destinations and represent the young population on the country’s public television, not only to promote interest in domestic tourism, but also to consolidate tourism as a right for everyone. Colombians and a way to enjoy and take advantage of their free time,” explained the Vice Minister of Tourism, Arturo Bravo.

For his part, for the general director of Fontur, Álvaro Balcázar, “with this audiovisual project with an innovative format, we strive to allow Colombians, especially young people, to experience and in this way achieve the diverse natural and cultural beauty of Colombia.” They travel to non-traditional destinations in regions such as the Altiplano Cundiboyacense, Orinoquía, Tolima Grande and Amazonia, among others.”
