The foregoing, as it ensures that children become vulnerable to respiratory illnesses during cold weather.

In this case, health officials recommend keeping them warm, so they can wear a hat, gloves, a scarf (mainly covering the nose and mouth) and thick socks.

It is also important not to expose them to sudden changes in temperature.

However, both mother and father should ensure that children consume plenty of fluids, as well as fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins A and C, as these help protect the body from respiratory diseases.

You’ll need to teach them frequent hand washing and take them for influenza vaccinations.

They should also be told to avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands, as these are routes for the virus to enter the body.

Similarly, you are invited to continue using the face mask correctly and follow the health measures against COVID-19.

It should be noted that during this time there are polar masses that transport cold air, that is why strong winds, cloudy weather and precipitation (rain, drizzle, snow, hail etc.) are recorded .

When the above occurs, we are all prone to contract respiratory diseases such as flu, influenza, bronchitis, etc.; However, the most vulnerable groups of people are pregnant women—at any stage of pregnancy—children six months to five years old, people over the age of 65, patients with chronic medical illnesses, and health professionals.
