Basketball in Salta officially presented its squad for the 2023/2024 Argentine League, led by coach Ricardo De Cecco and captain Facundo Arias Binda. The lieutenant governor Antonio Morocco He is there with the team.
“Salta is very well represented with you, we trust that you will make basketball continue to grow in the province,” the Vice Governor told the athletes in the presentation. In addition, he emphasized that the Government of Salta considers the game as a policy of the State and congratulated President Fernando Palópoli on his management.
Finally, he celebrated the appointment of Ricardo De Cecco as head coach for his career in Salta basketball as a coach and as a player.

The event was led by the president of Salta Basket, Palópoli, who introduced the members of the coaching staff and the professional team that will represent the people of Salta in the second category of national basketball.
The squad of players is made up of captain Facundo Arias Binda, Maximiliano Torino, Jerónimo Díaz Müller, Lucas Gallardo, Ronny Guerrero, Diego Peralta, Agustín Jara, Germán Farah, Mauro Girón, Francisco Quiroga, Santiago Outeyral, Valentín Villalobos, Tadeo Esper, Mateo Atwuel and Enzo Rodríguez.
Along with coach De Cecco, the coaching staff will include team manager Marcelo Ferreyra, physical trainer Rafael Padilla, assistants Marcelo Outeyral and Andrés Lizárraga, kinesiologist Facundo Luna and prop Mario Flores.
The team started the preseason at the beginning of September with the goal to prepare for the start of the championship in the best possible way. The debut will be on October 23 in Mendoza, when the Infernales will face Rivadavia Básquet. They will then play three more games away from home to finally make their first appearance on November 17 at the Delmi stadium against Independiente de Santiago del Estero.
