Within the framework of May 15, Teacher’s Day, the Governor of Aguascalientes, Tere Jimenez, led the award ceremony for teachers who work daily in favor of the education of girls, boys and youth in the unit.
The teachers received the “Manuel Altamirano” and “Ezequiel A. Chávez” medals for their 30 and 40 years of teaching work at different levels of education.
“Many congratulations, thank you all for your teachings. I acknowledge your noble work on behalf of the students, you encourage them to achieve their dreams; we welcome them as friends and wise mentors Lucky to have”, the governor highlighted.
He said that the state government and teachers would continue to join the effort so that the unit remains at a leading position globally as progress is made in consolidating the best of the education system in the country.
“In me they will find an ally who always supports teachers, that’s why our retired teachers are given another bonus, one in May and another in December, there is also a pay scale for higher secondary education, and we are going very low Fixing the teacher base a little bit; we are going to move forward so that education is quality because our teachers deserve it,” said Tere Jimenez.
It is noteworthy that during the governor’s administration, until May 2023, retired teachers had received an 11 percent increase in their bonus, while certified teachers would receive a 16 percent increase, as this sector is extremely important to state administration. .
Meanwhile, Ramon García Alvizo, Secretary General of Section 1 of the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE), congratulated the teachers on their day, thanking them for their dedication and commitment in building the Hydro-Warm Society.
