According to experts, he died of “acute intoxication due to the combined effects of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl and benzodiazepines” and he was pronounced dead at his parents’ home when Oakland police officers responded to the 911 call.
“It is with heavy hearts that we had to say goodbye to an incredible being today. As an artist, friend, brother and son, Angus was special to all of us in many ways,” the artist’s family said in a statement to Die Zeit.

His relatives also noted that the young man had “struggled intensely against the loss of his father, who had died a week earlier.” “Angus was open about his struggle with mental health and we hope his death can remind others that they are not alone and should not fight this battle in silence alone,” his family members said.
Despite his short career in the industry, Cloud positioned himself as one of Hollywood’s underwriters thanks to the role of Fezco in the teen series Euphoria and was one of the protagonists of the first two seasons of the project directed by Zendaya.
