He added that Peruvian exports to the United States have reported 22 years of growth, where it has the largest share the agricultural sector with 57% of ships in 2022, followed by manufacturing (21%), textiles (17%) and fishing (5%).
He highlighted the opportunities for the Food business that were found in the thesis Fruits and vegetablesof which they would carry 12.6% between 2021 and 2022. They increased by 7 percent of fresh exported products; blueberries, fresh grapes, asparagus, avocados, scallions, onions, tangerines.
There are also opportunities in transportation coffee and cocoawhich grew by 44.2% in the analysis of the aforementioned period. The product, Top 5 is made from green coffee beans, cocoa butter, chocolate fruit and the like, cocoa beans and cocoa powder.
Of the process products, they are those with the highest growth in 2022, such as sea salt, canned hearts of palm, olives, jams, pisco, paprika, prepared condiments, canned asparagus and canned artichokes.
