Maruti Celerio Engine
The new Celerio is powered by the new K10C DualJet 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. It comes with start/stop system. This engine generates 66 hp of power and 89 Nm of torque. It produces 2 hp of power and 1 Nm of torque less than the current model. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Automatic transmission will not be available on its LXI variant. The company claims that its mileage is 26.68 kmpl, which is 23% more than the current model.

Maruti Celerio Launch
The Celerio will get a 3D sculpted exterior body profile with a new brighter front grille, sharper headlight unit and fog light casing. The front bumper is also new with black accents. Some of its components are also taken from S-Presso. The side profile of the car is also completely different compared to the outgoing model. It has new design 15 inch alloy wheels. At the rear, you get body colored rear bumper, fluid looking taillights and a curvy tailgate.

Now the Celerio will offer more space to the passengers. Inside the car, features like first-in-segment hill hold assist, engine start-stop, large infotainment screen will be available. The car gets centre-centric visual appeal with sharper dash lines, twin-slot AC vents with chrome accents, new gear shift design and new design for the upholstery. It has a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Seats and upholstery materials are basic.

Safety features of Maruti Celerio
This car will get a total of 12 safety features including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill Hold Assist (first-in segment). The company claims that the new Celerio complies with all Indian safety norms such as frontal-offset, side crash and pedestrian safety. It will be available in 6 colors including Arctic White, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Caffeine Brown, Red and Blue with Solid Fire Red and Speedy Blue.
