This company launched the celebration edition of its popular bike, know what will be special in it?

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched a special edition of its best selling 125cc bike Shine. The Honda Shine Celebration Edition has a starting price of Rs.78,878 in India, ex-showroom. The company has also recently launched Activa 6G Premium Edition. At the same time, Dio Sports Edition was launched a few weeks back. Keeping in view the festival season, the company is launching these new models.

Giving people new options in the festival season

At the launch event of the bike, Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President and CEO of the company said, “As the country gears up for the upcoming festive season, at HMSI we want to add to this excitement for our customers across all segments. As one of the executive bikes, the renowned brand Shine is highly appreciated by the customers who will bring new joy to the customers in the festive season.”

Many cosmetic changes have been done in the bike.

The new Honda Shine Celebration Edition gets cosmetic updates and new color schemes. This bike can be bought in two color options Matt Steel Black Metallic and Matt Sangria Red Metallic. The bike gets fresh strips, a golden wingmark and a Celebration Edition logo on the fuel tank. It also gets a new brown seat. However, no changes have been made to the mechanical part of the bike.

No changes made to the engine

It is powered by a 123.94cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, which is also available in its regular variant. This motor generates 10.5 bhp power at 7,500 RPM and 11 Nm of torque at 6,000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It gets drum brake at the rear and drum/disc option at the front along with CBS.
