Ainara Elejalde (2001) grew up in an artistic environment and it is not surprising that her calling is also acting.
The daughter of Karra Elejalde and Silvia Bel – both actresses – the young woman inherited her parents’ interest in culture and at the age of 22 she made her film debut in the film Els Encantats by Lucia Del Greco.
Ainara Elejade’s first contact with art
The strange thing about this story is that she has always expressed a desire to express herself through art. Initially as a painter, she later realized that she wanted to follow her parents’ path and be in front of the camera.

The young woman was very close to her parents both personally and professionally and wanted to be with the Basque actor when she won the second Goya Prize for Eight Basque Surnames in 2015, when she was only 14 years old.

Karra Elejalde’s daughter made her film debut in 2023 with the help of Catalan director Elena Trapé in the film Els Encantats, a story about a woman who has just been divorced and is faced with the absence of her daughter when she goes for the summer with his father.
One of the reasons she quickly became interested in the role was her feminine style in front of and behind the camera: “I really liked the script, the fact that it was a story about a woman, directed by and starring a woman. “ a team in which half were women.
