The 1999 television hit, written by Fernando Gaitán, “I’m Betty the Ugly” continues to spark more than 23 years of conversation as its scenes continue to be reproduced on social networks.
And on TikTok there is a new trend dedicated to one of the scenes of this famous Colombian soap opera.
Which scene from “Ugly Betty” does everyone want to emulate?
The sequence, which has gone viral on social media, is about “Don Armando” and “Betty” discovering what they’ve been up to with the company he ran.
“Armando, we gave you a company, what did you do with it? What happened to our inheritance? With the legacy your parents and mine established. did you lose it Because Armando doesn’t exist anymore!” claims “Daniel Valencia”, brother of his fiancee and co-owner of the company. “Yes, it exists, I protected it,” he replies. “Dumb! It’s an embargo!” “Daniel” continues to yell when suddenly “Patricia Fernández”, a friend of another owner, bursts in and announces: “And the waiters are here!”, but she is immediately thrown out: “Patricia Fernández, get out of here here!”
