More and more Argentines are choosing to emigrate in search of improving their quality of life. In this framework, Canada is one of the most preferred destinations due to the many benefits it offers to foreigners who decide to settle and work in the region.
Recently, the North American country has developed a new program to encourage the arrival of professionals, by offering them visa processing facilities and the possibility of access to permanent residence- there.
This is the “Express Entry” system, an initiative proposed by the Canadian Immigration Minister, Sean Fraser. It is intended for workers with experience in specific trades or positions.
How to immigrate to Canada?: the new program for foreigners
While Paloma Lazcano was developing her TikTok account, a young Mexican who decided to live in Canada, the country launched the possibility of processing permanent residence.
“They only ask you for six months of experience in your country to work here in one of the 6 categories with the highest demand, which includes more than 80 professions,” added the tiktoker.
As detailed on the official site, the program offers two migration possibilities:
Federal Skilled Worker Program: for immigrants with specific work experience.
Federal Skilled Trades Program: for immigrants with work experience in the trades.
In this sense, @PalomaaLazcano expects that if you are selected within the plan, the Government of Canada “will pay for your flight, find accommodation for you and support you financially.”
In addition, for anyone who wants to travel to Canada, they must also add the following items:
Have a valid passport
A language test to accredit the level of English or French, by the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB)
An evaluation of educational credentials applicable to the Federal Skilled Worker Program.
