Silence! Chuck Norris took advantage of the double combo on Mother’s Day and the birthday of the woman who gave him life, like a good martial artist, to show all his love and respect on the social network. How is Wilma Norris Knight? Spoiler alert: She’s a hundred years old.
The cinema and karate legend, who recently completed 83 years with a gift from his wife, posted a few pictures on his Facebook account to pay tribute to the two most important women in his life. He shared a photo with his mom and one with his wife, and Chuck tried to explain that he loves them both more than words.
“Wow! I can barely believe it. My mother, Wilma Norris Knight, turns 102 this week on May 4. She was born in 1921. What’s even more amazing is that she So bountiful that she may live another 100 years”. He added: “I am overwhelmed with gratitude to God for the influence of the three women in my life. Without them I wouldn’t be the man I am.” And who are they?: “They are my grandmother Scarberry (my mother’s mother), my wife, Gena, and of course my praying mother.”

Norris has always given credit for his success to his mother. Wilma demonstrated great perseverance throughout her life and was able to raise three children as a single mother. There is no doubt that it is to blame that Norris is one of the most iconic figures of all time. He was born into poverty after his father abandoned him at a young age. Chuck pursued a career in martial arts, which later led him to act and star in several action films based on martial arts such as the legendary ‘Rage of the Dragon’ with Bruce Lee in 1972. The actor has mentioned many times that his mother has been the biggest influence in his life.
“My mother has prayed for me in ups and downs all my life. When I was born, I almost died of complications. When I almost lost my soul in Hollywood a few decades ago, she was there for me at home. Was praying. My success and my salvation. She also prayed that I should find a woman who would change my life, and it worked.
