Hyundai Venue was the best-selling sub-compact SUV in October 2021, with the Kia Seltos being the best-selling compact SUV segment. Kia Celtos sold 10,488 units in October 2021, compared to 8,900 units sold in the same month last year. Similarly, Hyundai Creta, which was second in the compact SUV segment, sold 6,455 units in October 2021. In October 2020, Crater sold 14,023 units, in this sense, SUV sales fell 54 percent. The Kia Seltos SUV comes in 3 different engine options – 1.5L petrol, 1.4L turbocharged petrol and 1.5L diesel. These engines are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox. Also, these are available with automatic gearbox. The company claims that its petrol engine variant gives mileage up to 16 kmpl and diesel variant up to 21 kmpl.
