Last month, sales of the top 5 SUVs increased. 3 out of 5 models have increased compared to October last year. Although sales of an SUV have declined. Hyundai Venue has been the best-selling SUV in October 2021. It sold 10,554 units, up 19.5 percent from 8,828 units sold in October last year. Venue also beat Kia Celtos, which is in second place with 10,448 units sold.

Number three Tata Nexon has become extremely popular among customers. This is an increase of 46.5 percent year on year in sales. The company sold 10,096 units of the Nexon in October 2021. Fourth and fifth on the list were Tata Punch and Maruti Vitara Brezza. Tata Punch is the company’s latest micro SUV, which sold 8,453 units in October. The Vitara Breza, on the other hand, sold 8,032 units, a 33.5 percent drop in annual sales.

Features of Hyundai Venue
It is the most affordable SUV in the country. Hyundai Venue comes in 8 trims. Venue prices range from Rs 6.92 lakh to Rs 11.73 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). In terms of features, it is equipped with rear AC vents with automatic climate control, Hyundai’s Blulink connected car technology, wireless mobile charging, cruise control, push-button start / stop, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a sunroof.

This sub-compact SUV comes in three engine options, including two petrol and one diesel. Its 1.2-liter petrol engine (83PS / 114Nm) combines with a 5-speed manual, while the 1.5-liter diesel engine (100PS / 240Nm) combines with a 6-speed MT. It gets a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine (120PS / 171Nm), combined with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It also gets the option of 6-speed IMT with manual.
