This variant of Skoda Slavia will get the most powerful engine, 150bhp of power and 250Nm of torque.

The Skoda Slavia mid-size sedan is set to launch in March next year The company has confirmed that its delivery will start from April 2022. The car is still a few months away from delivery, but in the meantime the company has stated which engine they are going to offer in which variant of Slavia.

Skoda Slavia will come in three variants – Active, Ambition and Style. In Slavia, the company is offering two turbocharged engine options – 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder TSI and 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder TSI. The car’s 1.0-liter engine produces 115bhp of power and 178Nm of torque. At the same time, in a 1.5 liter engine, you get 150bhp of power and 250Nm of torque.

Variants and engines
The company is going to offer 1.0 liter TSI engine in the active variant of Skoda Slavia. It will come with a 6-speed manual transmission. At the same time, you will also see a 1.0-liter TSI engine in the Ambition, but in it, the company will also offer the option of automatic transmission with 6-speed manual. If we talk about the Slavic style variant, you will find the option of 1.0 liter TSI and 1.5 liter TSI engine in it. In addition, this variant will come with manual and DSG transmission options.

Slavia will replace Rapid
Skoda Slavia will replace the existing Rapid in India. The Slavia 1.0-liter engine variant will deliver 5bhp more power and 3Nm more torque than the Rapid. The car’s 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine will be the most powerful engine in the segment as it features first-in-segment cylinder deactivation technology. Slavia length 4541 mm, width 1752 mm and height 1487 mm.

The longest and highest boot space in the segment
The Slavic wheelbase is 2651 mm, which makes it longer than the Honda City and Hyundai Verna. At the same time, it is 99mm longer than the Rapid. Slavia is the sedan that gives the maximum boot space in the segment. The boot space of this car is 520 liters. This is the company’s second product after Kushk based on the Made in India MQB A0 IN platform.
