Surely you’ve visited a Sam’s Club store and been shocked at the prices and variety of products you can buy. However, if you check you notice a lot of charges on the products and the savings didn’t end up being too much.
For this reason, and if you are tired of charging a commission for using a credit or debit card, but you don’t want to stop buying things in this store, now We tell you how to avoid this fee in a physical store and in Cashi.
To achieve this, you must first download the Cashi application for iOS or Android and register by filling out the form. Once registered, you will go to the “cards” section and you add one of your credit or debit cards. You can still use a digital one when paying, because to confirm the payment it will ask you for the CVV or another verification method to authorize the payment.
It’s worth mentioning that at this point you must have an active Sam’s Club membership. If confirmed, you must download the app in the store for Android or iOS, register through your membership and go to a physical branch.
Once in the store, you open the application and you will go to the “Scan & Go” section, The application will automatically find the store you are in, and start selecting and scanning your favorite products. It is important to mention that at this point the total will be marked with a card usage fee.
When you have finished your purchases, you will continue to the cart and As a payment method you select “Cashi”. The application will automatically link and detect your session, although it may ask for a pin or unlock pattern to access, select your added cards and click “confirm payment”.
At the end of the purchase, we will notice that the total has gone down because the card usage fee has been waived. To prove it we can compare promotions with prices with the physical brochure and the amount we paid, or the digital ticket offered to us in the application.
We must emphasize that in addition to avoiding the commission for using the card, Cashi gives us a 2% bonus on all our purchases and up to 10% if it is the first time we use the app in a store.
