Likewise, the peak and license plate now also applies to taxis with license plates ending in the digit 9, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The purpose of the peak and plate is to improve the traffic and movement of citizens and, in the process, act positively on the quality of the environment, because, according to the reasoning of the traffic authorities, a higher speed results in a reduction of gas emissions. dirt.
Anyone who fails to comply with this order may be fined more than 522,000 pesos and may even have their vehicle impounded.
In the case of cars, the ban applies to sedans and camper cars, and in the case of motorcycles it applies to two-stroke and four-stroke vehicles, including the so-called quad bikes.
If the type of fuel used in the machine is electric, hybrid or gas, it can travel without any problem in the metropolitan jurisdiction, provided that it has been registered before.
