October 4 (WNN) — Netflix is giving a glimpse of the new film Tick, tick… BOOM!
The streaming service shared a trailer for the musical drama featuring Andrew Garfield on Monday: Rent Producer Jonathan Larson.
Tick, tick… BOOM! Larsson’s autobiographical musical of the same name. The film follows John (Garfield), a young theater musician, as he navigates the pressures of love, friendship, and life as a performer in New York City in 1990.
“With the clock ticking, John is at a crossroads and faces a question that everyone should consider: What do we have to do with time?” reads an official description.
Tick, tick… BOOM! Mark hamilton Producer Lin-Manuel Miranda’s feature-length directorial debut. The film also stars Vanessa Hudgens, Alexandra Shipp, Robin de Jesus, Joshua Henry, Judith Light and Bradley Whitford.
Netflix also released the film’s first song “30/90” on Monday.
Original Tick, tick… BOOM! Music in Music, Lyrics and a Book by Larsson, who died in 1996 at the age of 35.
Garfield is best known for playing Peter Parker aka Spider-Man the amazing Spider Man And its sequel. His theater credits include death of a salesman And Angels in America.
