Hannaford supermarkets are reminiscent of a number of bakeries made with a flavoring that is a national recall.
Hannaford said the recall applies to pastries produced in stores such as Classic Garlic Focaccia and Classic Focaccia, which were purchased between June 22 and June 27.
These products used McCormick’s Perfect Pinch Italian Seasoning, which is being recalled for possible salmonella contamination.
No diseases were reported.
Customers should not eat the product and can refund goods to the store for full refund, officials said. Hannaford operates 184 stores in New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
RI pension fund closes year with record $ 10.3 billion
The Rhode Island Pension Fund closed the most recent financial year with a record $ 10.3 billion in assets, General Treasurer Seth Magaziner said Wednesday.
The retired public employees’ fund made a record $ 2.2 billion profit during the fiscal year ended June 30, he said in a statement, attributing the creditworthiness of the agency’s “back-to-basics” investment strategy .
“As chief treasurer, it’s my top priority to provide economic growth and financial security for all Rhode Islanders,” Magaziner said. “The basics work – this year the pension system has reached an all-time high, we have achieved our highest annual return in 25 years, and pensioners in the system also receive the much-needed cost of living. ”
