Tigres Feminil defeated Atlas Feminil on aggregate and advanced to the semifinals Newscast Mexico

With the series practically defined, Tigres Feminil had no problem defeating Atlas Feminil 2–0 to seal the tie, and thus advance to the semi-finals with an aggregate score of 7–0.

After winning the first leg, strategist Carmelina Moscato salvaged some pieces, such as in the case of Mia Fischel and Stephanie Meyer, to give room to Derry Ramirez and Lizeth Contreras.

With the need to look for a miracle, Guadalajara pressured Norteñas early on, but their effort was not successful, as the locals controlled the match from start to finish.

The first warning of danger from the Monterrey team came after 18 minutes, with a long-range shot by Maricarmen Reyes, but the crossbar was in charge of plunging to the goal cry.

For the complementary part, Moscato sent out ‘Big Fish’, Meyer and Belen Cruz to work their way into the opponent’s territory.

However, already in the final stretch, on 84′ Liliana Mercado collected a direct free kick that was impossible for goalkeeper Vania Villalobos to reach.

The final nail in the coffin came on 88′, where ‘La Generala’ finished with a header to score his second goal of the night.

With this score, Mayor reaches 84 goals as an Auriazul soccer player and is placed in the sub-leadership in goals in the history of Tigres Femenil, below Katy Martínez.
