· Mayor Jorge Corichi’s participation in the Protection of the Internationalization of Mexican Municipalities, in the California Chapter, has successfully concluded
After a week of work to promote Tlaxcala Capital on the global map of innovation and technology, the operations of the Chapter of the California Convoy for the Internationalization of Mexican Municipalities, inaugurated by Marcelo Ebrard, Minister of Foreign Affairs, have concluded.
The municipal president of Tlaxcala, Jorge Corichi, had the main participation in the meeting, where 50 municipalities of the capital of Mexico participated in the plan to share links with technological companies in the United States and the rest of the main planet.
In the cities of Los Angeles, San José and San Francisco, the municipality of Tlaxcalan was welcomed by colleagues Karen Bass, Matt Mahan and London Breed, with whom it agreed to be close to exploring ways of understanding in a joint effort.
In addition to twinning with the states of California, he had a major interaction with great businessmen, developers, community leaders, academics and researchers, with whom he exchanged experiences in innovation, e-tourism, business models and smart cities through digitization.
The tight and solid work schedule of President Jorge Corichi included dialogues with executives from travel agencies and companies in the tourism sector, with Netflix, the Los Angeles Times, Google Play and Microsoft. Meta, Cisco, Bakar, Bayer, Memascius and Incode, among others.
Meetings were also held with the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce and with migrant leaders from Tlaxcala. The tour included visits to Stanford, UCLA and Berkley.
The President of the Secretary of Foreign Relations, Marcelo Ebrard recognized the work of President Jorge Corichi to look for opportunities that bring the well-being of Tlaxcalans, and highlighted the cooperation with the federal agency to invest that detonate the economy of the capital municipality.
Thus, with the organization of excellence from the teams of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the consulates, the first Internationalization Convoy of Mexican municipalities has culminated, which will be in the capital of Tlaxcala in the case of great vigilance that will achieve the concrete interests of the people.
