The father of Bhavya Gandhi, who played the old ‘Tappu’ in the show ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, has passed away.
Vinod Gandhi, the father of Bhavya Gandhi, was infected with Coronavirus and his condition was very critical. Vinod Gandhi had been battling the Corona virus for the past 10 days. His health was very bad and he was on ventilator. But despite all the efforts, he could not be saved.
Let me tell you, Bhavya Gandhi’s father Vinod Gandhi was a businessman by profession and lives in Mumbai with his family. He is survived by his wife Yashoda Gandhi and two sons (Sure and Grand Gandhi). Sure is married. After completing his studies, Bhavya is now focusing on acting career.
Let me tell you that Bhavya Gandhi had joined ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ in 2008 and he left the show four years ago. In this show, Bhavya was playing the role of Tappu, son of Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) and Daya Bhabhi (Disha Vakani) and had been a part of it for nearly nine years. Today, Tappu has been replaced by another artist.
However, many years after leaving the show, it was revealed that he was not getting much screen space in the serial, so Bhavya left the show. Apart from Tarak Mehta, Tappu i.e. Bhavya Gandhi has also worked in Gujarati films.
