To celebrate World Theater Day, the public will be able to enjoy various activities in a festival organized by the Municipal Secretary of Culture and Tourism, which will take place from today until March 27.
There are almost 20 Bolivian operas in 22 different venues. All in all, 15 days and more than 100 artists on stage. More than 90% can features.
This festival has three pillars. First: The author’s works are unpublished and created by Bolivian authorities. Second: functions will be carried out in non-conventional settings, such as Palmasola, nursing home, Montero Hoyos, Paurito, indigenous communities and Mercado Abasto. Third: the work of each class will have an educational purpose”, explained George Calero, general coordinator of the festival.
Calero emphasizes that the diversity of this festival will be the difference that the public will have in this version, because there will be different themes for different audiences until the end of March.
Places and works
The works that will be seen in this festival will be Inomo, the rebellion of the magic hares, Te mox, Santa Cruz, Puellas, Ivy Maraey, The journey of Ulysses, the Guarayo story, The tragedy of Queen Clintemnestra, Gigas. and his circus Doña Gladys. Lady of Song, House of Bernarda Alba, I love you and Traslacruz de la Sierra. The widow is not a fairy tale. The final seven will be national championships.
Among the venues in Santa Cruz are the Meraki Teatro Bar, the Center of More Culture, the Mercado Mayorista Abasto, the main square of Montero Hoyos, the main square of Villa Primero de Mayo, the Villa Primero de Mayo Cultural Center, Vallecito II Urban Park, the Urban Central Park, the Oil Health Fund, Thank you, Cenvicruz Mujeres and San Guillermo de Malavalle Castle Center.
