The Mayor of Tomelloso, Inmaculada Jiménez, attended this Monday at the Palacio de Fuensalida in Toledo, the presentation of Destination Tourism Sustainability Plans, an act that was attended by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Rosana Morillo; president of C-LM, Emiliano García Page; Delegate of the Government in C-LM, Francisco Tierraseca and Minister of Economy, Business and Employment, Patricia Franco.
The mayor estimated the 2.5 million coins that Tomelloso received to transform and improve the tourist facilities of the city. For Jiménez, the investment is the most important, also achieved in competitive battles, which means a great job by the government team, which will continue to work on mature, serious, necessary and competitive projects to obtain new funds for the city of Tomelloso.
2.5 million of the money from Europe’s Next Generations funds have been collected through the Destination Tourism Sustainability Plan by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism for the improvement of resources and used destinations.
The actions planned for Tomellos will be carried out in two annual installments and are structured around four axes: Green and sustainable transition, which includes two projects: Creation of a criminally comfortable microclimate in the areas of the city (200,000 cash) and Landscape rehabilitation Canada Real. environment (200,000 euro); Energy efficiency, with four actions: installed in the convergence points of vehicles (130,000 coins), the improvement of energy efficiency in the theater Marcello Grande (18,595), cycle routes (12,826 euros) and the improvement of urban mobility (380,000 euros); Digitization, which includes three projects: DTI diagnosis and development of the Master Plan (175,000 euros), Francisco García Pavón Literary Route adapted to all people (35,000 euros) and intelligent tourist signage (51,765 euros) and the fourth axis, Competition with four projects: Rehabilitation of Casa del Gallego (500,000 euros), Musealization of the Casa del Gallego-Museo Marcelo Grande (126,000 euros), Acquisition of sculptural works by Antonio López García (500,000 euros), and Repair of the Cueva del Mercado Supply. 251,000 coins).
