In the past few hours, All Elite Wrestling shook up the professional wrestling scene with the announcement of AEW Collision, its new weekly show premiering on June 17, 2023. Saturday’s show was confirmed in the latest Warner Bros. Upfront Discovery, which provided a preview of what will be “the second night of Wrestling on TNT.”
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite provided an extended version of the announcement featured during the American morning. Tony Khan revealed the dates and locations for the first six episodes of AEW Collision, with one notable exception on the show’s premiere episode. The company president decided to save the event for the following week. Rumors have pointed to the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, as a strong candidate to host the first episode of the show.
On the other hand, the list of dates reveals interesting details about what will happen in this first phase of the collision. The show would tour Canada for a full month, with some dates previously announced as house shows becoming live broadcasts on TNT. On the other hand, the ceremony on 29 June confirmed that the show would have a recording date on Thursday under special circumstances. AEW Collision will return to the United States on July 22 inside the already usual Prudential Center.
Next, we review the recording dates and locations of the new All Elite Wrestling program.
