After appearing at the TapTap Presents Conference, XD Inc. To announce that the open beta for ARPG Torchlight: Infinite will start in October! Pre-registration for iOS is now open, and a new CG trailer gives players a taste of what to expect in this new installment in the Torchlight legacy.
As seen in the CG trailer, Torchlight: Infinite is about finding hope in the dark. Based on the story of the original Torchlight, players will experience a brand new story set in an apocalyptic era, where danger looms around every corner. A team of torchlight heroes is on a mission to stop the invasion of darkness and protect innocent people who have been driven from their homes. The colorful trailer also reveals important characters such as Embarons, evil creatures born from Ember, and Sparks, the torchlight world of hope.
In Torchlight: Infinite, players can combine various skills, talents, gear, and hero traits to create their own unique build and combat styles. Each character in Torchlight: Infinite has 3 different hero traits, as well as over 230 skills and a talent system of six gods, allowing players to develop their hero at will. Throughout the game, players are encouraged to explore the nearly endless possibilities of building their hero and enjoy an incredibly diverse range of combat techniques.
In Torchlight: Infinite, players can obtain valuable loot through grinding instead of relying on the stamina system or daily quests. The rarer the gear, the more unique and powerful the suffixes are. Torchlight: Infinite also has an in-game trading system where all items can be traded with other players.
Unique in personality and rich in charisma, the heroes of Torchlight: Infinite are dedicated to restoring light to the land of Leptis. Soon, players will be able to meet the sixth hero, the oracle Thea, a goddess with magical powers who is closely related to the moon.
