Tornadoes wreak havoc in Louisiana and Mississippi

KEITHVILLE, La. ( Associated Press) – A storm that spawned dozens of tornadoes from eastern Texas to northern Florida killed at least three people and left families homeless across Louisiana, where some homes were completely destroyed.

In other areas, blizzards with high winds occurred from the Dakotas to Michigan, and snow and ice caused problems in Appalachia and New England.
