Thousands of tourists flocked to South Beach on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, drinking at Ocean Drive restaurants, enjoying wind and sea shows and soaking up the afternoon sun.
The Hyundai Air and Sea Show continued to enthrall visitors on the beach, drawing large crowds admiring technology and equipment from the five branches of the US military.
In the crowd, circles of friends gossiped and even formed along Ocean Drive. During their weekend getaway, Dave and Tae befriend Emily and Genesis, a couple from Chicago’s South Side, who are celebrating Emily’s college graduation. The New Jersey couple were also relaxing before Emily starts law school in two weeks.

Dave and Tae wanted a change of scenery.
Dave said, “We’ve been in town so long, I think it’s time to go somewhere else.” “When I get home, I want to sleep as much as I can for day four, but right now I’m really enjoying it.”
