Tragic fire: Grandparents save their little grandson from burning to death in Puente Alto

An elderly couple died in the burning fire that destroyed their house on Tuesday afternoon in the town of Puente Alto. They survived their grandson, who was only 10 years old.

According to preliminary information, the tragedy would have been triggered when a stove hit a cloth, inside the house shared by the grandparents on Avenida Los Toros and Avenida México.

When Fire Department volunteers arrived in the community, the building was engulfed in flames. They were able to stop the fire from spreading, but they were unable to save the lives of the two adults who lived there.

Of course, with the help of the neighbors, they saved a child, who was hidden behind the house. He is the grandson of the victims.

“Thanks to the quick action of the firefighters, a ten-year-old minor was saved and survived alive and in good physical condition,” the Commander of the Fire, Jesús Valenzuela, announced in Puente Alto Al Día.

A grandfather’s last advice to his grandson

A shocking information has been revealed after the terrible fire. In the middle of the emergency, the old man gave his grandson one last piece of advice, which he survived.

“His grandfather told him, when the fire broke out, to go to the back of the house, hide behind, and thankfully he saved his life,” said Mayor Germán Codina.

“The minor hid the tambourine, and stayed there until help arrived from the boys from the workshop across the street and from the Fire Department,” he added.

The man did not come out. His life partner was prostrate.
