Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Political Responsible for the Provincial Context and Network Program for Primary Health Care, Dr. Eliana Molina, held a meeting with health system professionals to take the issue forward. Training and updating.
“Today we had a meeting on Primary Health Care and the Health Network Program at Néstor Kirchner Hospital. The following took part: Head of the Department of Biochemistry, Dr. Leticia Trevino, Biochemists Patricia Albornoz, Cecilia Pascolutti, Ophelia López. In addition, Engineer Luis Rocha, General Director of Medical Technologies of SIPROSA; Doctors Montoya and Busamra of the Service Network; Dr. Du Plessis from the Department of Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases; Accountant Piston as provincial coordinator of health network programs; and Noelia Botón, deputy director of PRIS”, explained Molina.
The objective of the meeting was to strengthen the quality of care of the first and second level health centers by implementing continuous improvements by multidisciplinary teams. All this through tools, systematic monitoring of quality of care, integrated and coordinated management between different levels of care, common directorates, service networks and PRIs.
“The priority lines in non-communicable chronic diseases were then explained by the network and the primary health care program, which are: arterial hypertension, diabetes, colon and cervical cancer, obesity. We also discussed care processes and those nodes that will be selected for each priority line, thus allowing access and continuity in comprehensive health care,” the authority said.
