Travel Composer, a Spanish platform in the markets of Southern Europe and Latin America, joins the holding company Travelsoft, made up of the French Orchestra and German business, to pursue world leadership in SaaS 4 Travel. Tentio will own 100,000 of the three companies and each of the structures will retain a great deal of autonomy.
Iter Composer was founded in Palma in 2014 by Manuel Aragonés and Vicente Rosselló, and is a “unique holistic system” to create, recite, book and sell tours through any channel. After 2022 with “very strong results” in historical and emerging markets in America and Asia, the company merged with Travelsolft and also its stakes in the startups Mogu and Top Group Express.
The operation was possible after more than five months of business and thanks to the work of teams from Cambon Partners, Ennea Capital Partners, PGA firm, among others. After the merger, Christian Sabbagh, founder and president of Travelsoft, remains the majority shareholder of Travelsoft together with the two founders of Travelsoft, Manuel Aragonés and Vicente Rosselló, and the two business founders, Salim Sahi and Jens Muskewitz.
Nine months ago, Travelsoft acquired German businesses, and with this new integration it becomes a natural technological consolidator of its sector on a global scale. The company is considering further acquisitions in the future.
“Lorem is very excited to join such a global project to continue to complete the competition in technical terms and to dominate the market with our growing business. Less than 9 years after the creation of Travel Composer, we are entering a new exciting period to accelerate our growth in Europe, Latin America and Asia “, explained Manuel Aragonés, founder of the Composer Tour.
“We share with Manuel and Vicente the entrepreneurial culture that facilitates this rapprochement. This is a new step in Travelsoft’s plan to serve customers in all geographies with platforms adapted to each ecosystem and to share best practices. The need for bookings is increasing and we will respond better by hosting Travel Composer in keeping our company,” said Christian Sabbagh, founder and president of Travelsoft.
As a result of this merger, Travelsoft guarantees more than 5,000 million euros of annual business volume through more than 300 value operators in connectivity with 600 providers in more than 40 countries, mainly in Europe and America. The group has more than 200 employees who are experts in travel technology and today has the ability to invest more than 5 million euros per year in R&D.
Travelsoft was created in 2000 and is present in 15 countries through integrated platforms in each national ecosystem. They cover synergies between platforms, especially global connections with airlines and hotels.
