Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce broke his silence on his relationship with Taylor Swift during his latest episode New Heights podcast released on Wednesday (September 27).
“Shoutout to Taylor for pulling up,” Kelce said when asked by his brother and co-host, Philadelphia Eagles center. Jason Kelce to meet Swift’s appearance in a luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium with their mother, Donna Kelce, on Sunday (September 24). “It was very nice. I just thought it was amazing that everyone in the suite had nothing but good things to say about him, friends and family. He looked great, everyone spoke about him in a good light and on top of that the day turned out to be perfect for the Chiefs.
Swift, 33, was shown excitedly celebrating Kelce’s 3-yard touchdown reception during the fox‘s live broadcast of the Chiefs’ 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears before walking out of Arrowhead Stadium with the All-Pro tight end.
“The slow chest moves, the high-fives with mom, it’s a game I’ll remember, that’s for sure,” Kelce said. “Then we just slide into the getaway car at the end… Shoutout to Taylor for coming and watching me rock the stage.”
Kelce, 33, said that his life has seen a big change since he was recently linked to Swift, one of the most popular pop superstars on the planet.
“The truth is, you know, this is my personal life, I want to respect both of our lives,” said Kelce. “He’s not in the media like I’m doing this show every week and having fun during the NFL season on other guys’ shows, like The (Pat) McAfee show and any other shows that I have going on from here on out, like you said in the Thursday night game, I’m enjoying life and I’m definitely enjoying the weekend.
“So everything that’s going on, I think I’m talking about the sport and saying well now should be kind of where I keep it.”
On Monday (September 25), TMZ reports that Swift and Kelce hung out “multiple times” in a “very private setting” before the signee attended a Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium. The website says Swift and Kelce aren’t “officially” dating, but claims the singer is “very good” to the tight end’s mom when the two were spotted together in a luxury suite on Sunday.
The singer’s appearance at Arrowhead Stadium comes days after Kelce confirmed he invited her to a game amid reports the two were “quietly hanging out” while appearing on the Pat McAfee show on Thursday (September 21).
Earlier this month, a source claiming to have knowledge of the situation spoke out Messenger.com that Kelce has been “quietly hooking up” with Swift recently.
“Taylor and Travis are quietly dating,” the source said. “She saw him when she was in NYC a few weeks ago.”
Kelce previously claimed that she made a bracelet with her phone number on the beads and unsuccessfully tried to give it to Swift when she attended her Eras Tour in July.
“I was disappointed that he wouldn’t speak before or after his shows because he had to save his voice for the 44 songs he sang, so I couldn’t hand him one of the bracelets I made. for him,” said Kelce in a New Heights podcast episode released in July.
