Trujillo receives an endowment of drugs and supplies from Pharmapatria

This Saturday the Trujilana Health Foundation (Fundasalud) received a grant of supplies from Pharmapatria, which will be distributed to hospitals and popular clinics in the state of Trujillo.

This was announced by Yeni Hernandez, director of the State Hospital Network, who explained that this supply of 65,322 units of doses complements the monthly allocation made by the Ministry of Popular Power for Health.

“Today 65,322 Unidoses are being distributed, 27,610 units of medicines and 37,712 of supplies are being distributed. It is important to highlight that at the moment we are in a process where hospitals are filling to the max and of course the supply and consumption of medicines is quite important,” he explained.

From the Fundasalud headquarters, Hernández highlighted the convergence of the efforts of both the national government through the Ministry of People’s Power for Health and the government of Trujillo state “with the efforts of Mayor Gerardo Marquez to meet the endowments that come monthly to our hospitals For and popular clinics of the unit ”.

He also said that the medical equipments received are 10 glucometers, 10 tensiometers and 10 nebulizers.

Finally, he noted that the provision of these supplies, medicines and equipment was processed between the Regional Executive and the Pharmapatria in order to strengthen the public health system of the entity.

Focus on patients from the HIV-AIDS-STI program

Through his user on the social network Instagram @fundasaludtru he reported that antiretroviral drugs arrived in the state of Trujillo in favor of patients in the protocol of the HIV-AIDS-ITS program associated with the Trujilana Health Foundation (Fundasalud).

“In addition, according to the State Director of the aforementioned program, Yaneth Graterol, the confirmatory HIV tests arrived. It is noteworthy that the shipment was welcomed by the State Director of the Health Program, Milagros Cadenas, and the State Coordinator in charge of HIV-AIDS-ITS”, he posted.

Day of vaccination

On the other hand, Berenice Marin, State Coordinator of the Expanded Immunization Plan (PAI), reported that more than 22,293 doses have been administered to children, adults and pregnant women in the state of Trujillo as part of the Mega Immunization Day 2023. ,

Through a press release, he informed that vaccination days have been organized in 470 points, including aid centres, nomadic posts as well as house-to-house boarding, with 3,582 health centers taking care of children aged 0 to 6 years.
