TVS Jupiter 125 Price & Features: The country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motors has today launched its new scooter TVS Jupiter 125 in the domestic market. Adorned with an attractive look and strong engine capacity, the starting price of this scooter has been fixed at Rs 73,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new Jupiter 125 has been built on a completely new platform, it has not only been given a new engine but it has been introduced with some special features.
Let us tell you that it is the second most sold scooter in the country after Honda Activa, but till now TVS Jupiter was available in the market only with 110cc engine. Which was first introduced in the year 2013. You can guess the popularity of this scooter from the fact that till now the company has sold 45 lakh units of it.
How is the new TVS Jupiter 125:
As far as the design of this scooter is concerned, the company has kept it simple but better. It gets prominent crease lines on the front apron and side panels. The LED headlamps along with chrome and LED daytime running lights give an attractive look to its face. The rear part of the scooter has also been decorated quite neatly.
As far as features are concerned, in the new TVS Jupiter 125, the company has given side stand engine cutoff, USB charging socket with start-stop system. Apart from this, information like instrument panel, digital display, real time fuel gauge, scooter mileage and fuel level etc. is also available in this scooter.
Gets long seat:
In the new scooter, the company has given better and comfortable seats, which is about 65 mm longer than the Jupiter 110 model. Which provides better seating for both the driver and the rear seater. Its height has also been kept normal, so that you can sit on it easily and it gives a better riding position.
Inside the seat, 32 liters of under-seat storage has been provided, in which you can keep your essentials. This scooter comes with a fuel tank of 5 liters. The fuel filler cap is placed at the back of the apron at the front. It is usually given under the seat or on the back side.
In the new TVS Jupiter, the company has given an engine of 124.8cc, which generates power of 8.3hp and torque of 10.5Nm. The company claims that this engine has been tuned according to the strong low and mid range. Apart from this, this scooter will give better mileage than its competitors. However, this can be clearly said only after testing.
The new Jupiter 125 is available in four colors – Dawn Orange, Indiblue, Pristine White and Titanium Grey. The price of its base variant has been fixed at Rs 73,400. At the same time, the price of alloy wheel variant with drum brake is Rs 76,800 and the price of top variant is Rs 81,300. In the market, this scooter mainly competes with the Honda Activa.
