TVS’s powerful electric scooter Creon is coming, will give great driving range with advanced features

There is a continuous entry of new players in the field of electric mobility. Now the country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor is preparing to launch its new electric scooter Creon in the domestic market soon. TVS plans to invest Rs 1,000 crore to strengthen its electric vehicle portfolio.

Let us tell you that the company had showcased the Creon concept electric scooter for the first time during the 2018 Auto Expo. According to media reports, the company can introduce this scooter in the market by next year. The company has also indicated that the upcoming premium electric scooter will be based on the Creon concept. The most important thing is that this scooter will be equipped with new advanced technology and connectivity features.

Talking about the concept of this scooter of TVS, the company has used an advanced lithium-ion battery in it, which generates power of 12 kW capacity. Apart from this, this battery will be equipped with fast charging system and will be charged to give more range in less time. Its electric motor generates so much power that it can accelerate from 0 to 60 kilometers per hour in just 5.1 seconds.

It is being told that this electric scooter will give a driving range of up to 80 km in a single charge and its battery will be charged up to 80 percent in just 1 hour. Although these are figures for the concept model, it is expected that when this scooter is launched, it will see a little more improvement.

This new scooter will be positioned slightly above the company’s current model TVS iQube, but some advanced features will be given in it, so it is expected that its price will be slightly higher than the iQube. As of now, the company is selling the iQube only in select cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, Chennai and Coimbatore, very soon it will be launched in other cities of the country as well.
