Live Your Own Life is a new drama starring Uee as Lee Hyo Shim, a loving personal trainer and devoted daughter who has always put her family’s needs before her own until she finally decides to break away from her family and hers own to seek happiness. Ha Jun will play Kang Tae Ho, the head of the planning department of a conglomerate who eventually becomes one of Hyo Shim’s clients.
In new stills from the drama, Hyo Shim and Tae Ho got off to a bad start with their chaotic first meeting. As a former track and field athlete, Hyo Shim goes for an early morning run every day, and during one of those fateful runs, she accidentally collides with Tae Ho while trying to avoid an oncoming bike.
When Hyo Shim asks Tae Ho for his contact information so she can contact him regarding medical treatment, Tae Ho glares at her and coldly replies, “My contact information is a bit expensive.” Hyo Shim is surprised by his reaction and stares at Tae Ho in disbelief at.
Reflecting on the nature of their character dynamic, Uee said, “Maybe it’s because they started arguing right after they met, but Hyo Shim opens up when she’s with Tae Ho.” Tae Ho has a pleasant charm , thanks to which Hyo Shim can show him her true self, and it is thanks to Tae Ho that Hyo Shim begins to think about living her life herself.”
Meanwhile, Ha Jun teased that things would change between the two characters when they meet for the second time.
“When (Tae Ho) discovers (Hyo Shim) working out alone at the gym in the early hours of the morning, he is shocked and amazed,” the actor shared. “Tae Ho always thought that he couldn’t allow himself to develop feelings for anyone since he was in the middle of a battlefield. But in reality, he has always wanted to rely on someone, and slowly he wants to rely more and more on Hyo Shim, who works hard and has a strong sense of responsibility.”
