When can I receive the $100,000 firewood bonus?

Every year the state provides a financial contribution to support households that have higher expenses due to low temperatures, the firewood bonus.

This benefit provides for a payment of $100,000 to those residing in the Aysén region and belonging to the most vulnerable 80% of the population.

The delivery of the now known heating subsidy took place in April, but there are those who have not yet received the money and the deadline is soon expiring.

Until when can I collect the firewood bonus?

According to the information on the official website of the grant, beneficiaries have a period of 6 months from the date of delivery for collection.

This means that people have until October 3rd to withdraw the outstanding funds, considering that official delivery began on April 3rd.

To find out if you haven’t received the $100,000, you just need to go to the Heating Subsidy page, enter your RUT and date of birth and click “Consult”.

How can I collect the outstanding money?

If you have not yet received your firewood bonus, you must go to the nearest Banco Estado branch with your ID card and request payment.

If you are unable to collect the grant, you must fill out the following form, which must then be signed with the affidavit.

This must be presented at the Office of the Regional Ministerial Secretariat of the Region (Seremi) of Aysén to manage the change of collector.

State benefits represent an important economic income for a large part of the population.
