UPN will match its worst result and government allies may reiterate sources

According to a poll published this Thursday by Navarra Television, UPN will equal its worst historical result with 13 MPs and could repeat the formula with the support of current government partner EH Bildu.

The UPN will be the first force with 13 MPs, with 24.5% of the vote, followed by the PSN, which will retain its current 11 and 20.1% of the vote. EH Bildu, with 15.9% of the vote, would overtake Geroa Bai with 8–9 delegates, becoming the third force, and Geroa Bai would remain at 7–8 with 15.4% of the vote.

The PP will get between 5 and 6 MPs, 10.6%, Contigo Navarra will retain the 3 that Podemos and Izquierda-Ezquerra had, 6.5% and Vox will enter the provincial parliament with 1 or 2 seats, with 3.9 to 3 % will cross the barrier. , Ciudadanos, with 1.1% of the vote, would stay out of the Forel Chamber.

The survey conducted 1,200 telephone interviews between May 3 and 9, half of them in Pamplona and the other half in other municipalities.

Regarding the management by the Navarra government, 40.8% believe it has gone “well”, while 24.7% say it has been managed “badly”. 15.1% think “neither good nor bad” and 11.% that “very bad”. Similarly, 4.6% say the regional government’s management during this legislature has been “very good”.

Potential government sources

The survey also considered what government formulas are best for citizens, given that no party will win an absolute majority.

With 24.7% the preferred option of those polled is the PSN, a government made up of EH Bildu, Geroa Bai and Contigo Navarra, which would add up to an absolute majority.

The second most chosen option, with 21.8%, is the last four years in which the PSN, Geroa Bai and Contigo Navarra were in government supported by EH Bildu, when it was necessary to win a majority.

18.4% want a government between UPN, PP and Vox, 11.1% on an alliance between UPN and PSN, and 3.7% between UPN and Geroa Bai. According to the results of the poll these last three options would not have a sufficient majority. 13.5% have not spoken.
