The US crypto community is redoubling its efforts to educate US politicians and lawmakers about the potential of Bitcoin, the most capitalized cryptocurrency on the market.
To achieve this, the crypto community came up with an ingenious plan.
Bitcoiner Dennis Porter, president and founder of the Satoshi Action Fund and who has promoted “Right to Mine Bitcoin” bills in several states across the country, reported that Every lawmaker who is part of the United States Congress will receive a copy of the book “The Bitcoin Standard” as a gift. which presents a detailed analysis of the historical context that gave rise to the creation of cryptocurrency, as well as its implications in the economic, political and social system.
Porter is known for his focus on the use of Bitcoin mining as an effective solution to absorb excess load and ensure the stability of electrical networks in order to guarantee energy supply in homes, institutions and the private sector. Porter also advocates the environmental benefits of Bitcoin mining, encouraging crypto miners to use clean energy sources to reduce carbon emissions.
For this reason, through his crypto education strategy, Porter ensures that more US politicians and legislators they will be able to understand what Bitcoin is and realize its value and potential even, ensure technological leadership and the development of innovation in the United States.
It’s more important than ever to educate those in positions of influence and the general public on the value of #Bitcoin mining for the grid, the economy, and the environment. https://t.co/UeUqEIvcOf

In addition to the book “The Bitcoin Standard”, lawmakers in Congress will also receive a copy of the book “Layered Money” as part of the same Bitcoin literacy strategy. Delivery of the books to lawmakers and members of Congress will take place on June 22, Porter reported.
This educational strategy comes at an important time for cryptocurrencies in the United States.
Rep. Patrick McHenry recently stated this In two months, the United States will have its own crypto law ready. According to McHenry, the House Financial Services Committee and the House Agriculture Committee are currently working on developing a unified bill led by Sens. Cynthia Lummis and Kirsten Gillibrand.
Considering the risks of regulatory disagreements between US lawmakers and cryptocurrency regulatory agencies, the community supports Porter’s initiative to educate US lawmakers about Bitcoin. According to Geyser Fund founder Metamick, 98% of bitcoiners find it important for policymakers to educate themselves about Bitcoin so they can better represent their needs and interests.
Through the Geyser Fund, bitcoiners and crypto users contribute to the plan to give a copy of the book “The Bitcoin Standard” to the 535 politicians who make up Congress.
