Former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday urged Republican voters to reject the “siren chants” of former President Donald Trump’s populist policies and that he espouses traditional conservative principles, arguing that the future of the Republican Party and the Republican Party endangered nation are at stake.
Pence delivered the speech at St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. There he warned that if voters in his party continue to pursue what he calls “loose” policies based on “personal… Complaints” is based on doubt.”
Pence barely mentioned Trump by name in his remarks, but it was clear the former president and his seemingly steadfast fan base were at the center of his criticism.
