Napa County Superior Court Judge Joseph Solga said, “Paul Pelosi has already served two days in prison and has received another two days of misdemeanor credit.”
During Paul Pelosi’s sentencing, Solga said, “Paul Pelosi will work eight hours on the court work schedule in exchange for the remaining days.” The Associated PressWednesday (24/8/2022).
U.S. state law allows defendants convicted of a DUI or drunk driving offense to appear in court unless otherwise ordered by the court.

As part of his probationary period, Paul Pelosi will be required to attend driver drinking classes for three months and install an interlocked ignition device, with the driver providing a breath sample before driving. The judge said he also had to pay a fine of about $7,000.
Paul Pelosi was arrested on May 28 after an accident in Napa County, north of San Francisco, after a DUI test showed he had a blood alcohol content of 0.082 percent, slightly above the legal limit.
According to the complaint, officials responding to reports of an accident after 10 p.m. near the wine city of Yountville said they found Pelosi in the driver seat of a 2021 Porsche Carrera and the other driver was standing outside the sports vehicle.
California Highway Patrol officials said Pelosi was unsteady, her speech was slurred, and she had a strong smell of alcohol.
The complaint states, “Pelosi provided his driver’s license with a “Foundation 11-99” card to the officer upon asking for identification. Foundation 11-99 supports CHP employees and their families.
