US loses to San Luis in second leg but qualifies for Clausura semi-finals

MEXICO CITY ( Associated Press) – Spaniard Unai Bilbao and Brazilian Lucas Bonatini scored on Saturday as Atlético de San Luis beat struggling America 2-1 to advance to the semifinals of the Clausura tournament in Mexico.

Bilbao scored the first goal of the match after 18 minutes and Bonatini scored for the visitors after 30 minutes.

Uruguayan Brian Rodríguez scored in the 87th for Águilas, who advanced with a 4–3 aggregate score after a 3–1 trip to the central city of San Luis Potosí.
