Usama Ishtay settled in Los Angeles, where she studied modeling and sewing while earning a living as an Uber driver.
It is not always easy, especially in the beginning. I had to save a penny each. Sometimes I saw myself working 36 hours between Uber and the first line of products without stopping,” said the Venezuelan in an interview with the Venezuelan portal.
“Every project has a new story and motivates me to do better in the future. My decision to leave my job as an engineer and geologist has proven to be life-changing and every other decision, I am grateful for that decision.”
