A new gem has emerged in European football that carries the blood of Honduras. This is the boy Victor Vandenbroucke, who belongs to one of the best quarries in Belgium.
With an American father and a Catracha mother, Victor was born on September 27, 2008, training from a very young age in the youth ranks of KAA Genk, one of the most famous clubs in that that country.
Vandenbroucke, at the back, is the captain of Genk’s U-16 team and has represented the Belgian youth team since 2023, and has even been called up to play in the matches in the month of October.

The footballer lived in Honduras during his childhood, so he had the desire to be called H. In fact, his entourage tried to find members of Fenafuth so that they could contact the young promise.
Victor speaks Spanish as well as English. In his social networks he has pictures of his childhood when he lived in the territory of Catracho and in his biography on Instagram he is proud of his triple nationality, because he has the flags of Belgium, the United States and Honduras.
In June Vandenbroucke started competing against the best academies in Europe by competing in the KDB tournament, which is a tournament organized by footballer Kevin De Bruyne to bring together the best youth talent in the old continent.
In this competition, the boy of Honduran blood faced the quarries of Real Madrid, Ajax and PSG, providing a luxurious help against the latter.

The legendary David Suazo is in charge of scouting players on the European continent in Fenafuth, so he is the one who must act to attract the Belgian team to represent Honduras, as recently happened with the Italian Valerio Marinacci.

It should be noted that Genk, league champion in 1999, 2002, 2011 and 2019, as well as the current runner-up in Belgium and participant in the UEFA Conference League, is the club that produced the most stars in the golden era of ‘ Red Devils’.
In the last decade, world-class Belgian footballers like Kevin De Bruyne, Thibaut Courtois, Yannick Carrasco, Divock Origi came out of Genk. They also produced other gems, such as Jamaican Leon Bailey. Mexican World Cup player Gerardo Arteaga currently plays for this club.
Genk is the club where Roberto Osorto, player of Real España, conducted a two-week trial before the start of the Apertura 2023.
