He took his first wicket by dismissing Jordan Cox. The fast bowler also bowled only 13 overs in the first innings and took two wickets to his name. In the second innings too, he spelled five overs.

Archer was bowling in the shortest format of cricket for the first time since the T20 series played against India. He could not play in the IPL due to injury.
