A trio of intrepid thieves emptied shelves inside a high-end makeup store in Los Angeles as dazed shoppers stunned amid the nation’s ongoing shoplifting crisis, according to a video clip posted online.
The 47-second recording shows the miscreants wearing hoodies over their heads as they grab various cosmetics and stuff them into black garbage bags.
“Baap re bap. Oh my f—king god,” said a woman recording the robbery on her cellphone.
“F-king low life.”
As the scene unfolded, at least two workers stood nearby, then followed the shopkeepers as they headed towards the exit and calmly carried on with their haul.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department told Fox 11 LA that the incident took place at a Sephora outlet in the Los Cerritos Center mall at around 9 p.m. Saturday and was one of several similar incidents that night.
LASD said the Forever 21 store was the first business, followed by the Sephora store.

The video was posted on TikTok on Sunday by user @jessleetv, who added text saying, “I was just trying to take the concealer out, then I heard a bang…..CERRITOS MALL 5/28 8:50 pm.”
It quickly went viral, garnering over 1.4 million views as of Monday evening.
The unidentified perpetrators appear to have been two men and a woman, leading one commenter to say, “their belief in doing so while wearing the slide.”
