The Vietnamese brand is preparing two new electric models, one dedicated to the US market and the other urban electric, which could cost €12,000.
The automotive brand is ready to arrive in Europe, to take a place in the electric market on our continent. For now, two models will be presented, the VF6 and the VF7, which will replace the cars that are already available in several countries. But in Vietnam there is a third model that is gaining success and that will reach Europe in the future.
The VF5 is a small compact that seeks to be referred to urban circulation. It was only sold in Vietnam, but the brand could consider a version intended for the European market. This will be announced soon, when the two new electric models will be launched, buyers will focus on foreign markets.
The intention of the Vietnamese brand is to grow and reach 50,000 units sold throughout 2023. For this model will be sent to compete with electric ups, especially those originating from the United States. This vague purpose is to be positioned in that market, so a vehicle will be set up to suit who the market demands.
The second model will be, according to the information, a version of the VF5 that could be marketed in Europe. It would be a small contract with a selling price of around 12,000 euros. It could even be a completely new model, although its spirit would be the same as the Vietnamese model.
If we talk about it, it has a length of 3.9 meters, so it is very suitable for city running. And if we look at the engine, it provides a power of 100 kW, equivalent to 135 hp. The battery is 37.23 kWh, which allows about 300 kilometers under NEDC approval.
This car has a price equivalent to 18, 300 European coins, to get a price of 12,000 coins in Europe, they will have to reduce the cost of manufacturing the model.
