After nine years, the United States Government has announced an increase in visa applications for tourists, businesses, students, workers and temporary investors. The last price update was in 2014. But in a few hours the US Government, through a statement from the Department of State, announced a new cost request document.
The increase is set between 10% and 15% for B1/B2, BCC, F1, H, L, O, P, Q and R visas.
The text stated that these new costs will take effect in the second half of 2023.

When does the cost of paying US visas increase?
It should be noted that the increase will not take effect immediately, but will take place in the middle of 2023.
The United States government has established that the old fees will be maintained for applications made up to May 30, which means that from June 1 the new fee will be payable.
These new prices apply to applications for the first time and also to renewals with or without a rejection interview.

How do I get a US visa?
To start the process, you need to go to the website of the US Embassy in Colombia and fill out a form that will determine if the application requires prior training or not.
