Volta Trucks introduces London Trucks as a Service to its Customer Operations Center

The hub is the second service and maintenance facility announced by Volta Trucks after Bonuil-sur-Marne in Paris, with more centers to be announced in other European cities.

The Volta Trucks hub in London is on White Hart Lane in Tottenham, north London, close to many of Volta Trucks’ early UK customers, and within easy reach of all major logistics hubs in east and west London. The facility is spread over 30,000 square feet and operates eight shop bays. It will also have a showroom, administrative offices, a Volta Trucks Academy training center and a call center that will provide the interface between the customers and the company’s team of technical and commercial experts.

With sustainability at the heart of the Volta Trucks brand, the new Volta Truck Hub building in London is at the forefront of design. The property, managed by LaSalle Investment Management, has a photovoltaic panel system on its roof, which converts sunlight into energy for the site, and a passive solar wall, which optimizes the heating and ventilation of the building. It has also been designed with a charging infrastructure to support 50kW fast charging of Volta Zero vehicles during servicing. Overall, the facility has an A+EPC rating and is designed to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.

The Volta Trucks hub in London is part of a broader representation strategy that will see vehicle servicing offered at launch locations in Paris, London, Madrid, Milan, Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region and Germany’s Randstad region.
