Vucevic broke through with 43 points in Chicago’s win over Golden State.

Chicago. Center Nikola Vucevic put in a stellar performance to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 132-118 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Sunday’s NBA Day.

Montenegrin superstar Vucevic of the Bulls overflowed with 43 points and achieved his ninth consecutive ‘double-double’.

Thus the Bulls snapped a streak of three straight losses at the United Center in Chicago.

Vucevic’s performance was the centerpiece of a complete and balanced offensive performance from Chicago, in which six players finished with double-digit scores.

Basketball players Zach LaVine scored 27 points, Alex Caruso and Ayo Dosunmu each added 12 points, while Kobe White added 15 points off the bench.

The win was great for the Bulls (20-24) as they now head to Paris next week for a regular season game against the Detroit Pistons on Thursday.

Instead, the loss was another red flag for the Warriors, the reigning NBA champions, who sit in eighth place in the Western Conference with a 21–22 losing record.

In other games on Sunday, Julius Randle scored a season-high 42 points as the Knicks beat the Pistons, 117–104, for their third straight win.

In Los Angeles, Kawhi Leonard and Terrence Mann combined for 61 points each in the Clippers’ 121–100 win over the Houston Rockets.

The Lakers lost 112–113 against Philadelphia, the Brooklyn Nets also lost 102–112 against the Oklahoma Thunder.

Sacramento, for its part, defeated San Antonio 132–119, while Denver defeated Orlando 119–116 and Portland defeated Dallas 140–123.
